The file C:UsersrpocheAppDataLocalMicrosoftOutlookPersonal Folders(1).pst cannot be accessed because another workstation has modified it. Microsoft Office Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. If you are a Microsoft Outlook user, then you might have faced a very common issue that is 'Outlook does not close properly'. I tried scanpst just for kicks and nothing. I have a user who is getting the following message when they try to copy an email to a pst folder. Outlook Does Not Close Properly Even After Clicking on Exit Button. pst file shows that the file is over 3gigs and I made sure it was pointing to that file.

Oh yeah, I forgot to uncheck "Delete expired items" the first time then went back and changed it, which may have deleted a lot of stuff.Īnyway, after setup right I did a manual "Archive all folders according to their AutoArchive settings", and nothing went into the archive folder. It is obtainable as a part of Microsoft Office Suite.

After I did that he didn't have anything in his archive folder. Microsoft Outlook is an email client which is the personal information manager provided by Microsoft. So I changed it to what it was supposed to be. Yesterday, one of the users asked me to make sure his mail was archiving right just to make sure. I set them up like every other user like so: I have a couple users who's archive folder is not archiving right. Ok, so I'm pretty new to Outlook and I'm either not getting the whole archive thing, I'm doing it wrong, or it's not working right.
